Building on the success of the Rochester 7, Portway has introduced the Rochester 5 Mk2, a stylish and efficient multi-fuel stove designed for small to medium-sized rooms. Combining a strong steel body with robust cast iron components, including the door, top plate, and leg plinth, this stove delivers both durability and timeless elegance.

Rated A+ for energy efficiency with an impressive 81.3% efficiency rating, the Rochester 5 Mk2 is engineered for high performance. Despite its petite proportions, it provides a substantial 4.9kW heat output, making it an ideal choice for standard-sized rooms. The elegant cast iron detailing, curved door, and decorative cornice bevelled edge top enhance its sophisticated design. The door features a fitted chrome trim as standard, with the option for a black finish, allowing you to personalise its look.

Designed to complement both traditional and modern interiors, the large glass viewing window offers a stunning view of the mesmerising flames. The stove is finished in matt black, contrasted by a polished silver door handle and air control sliders. The detailing at the base of the door is also available in a polished silver or black finish, providing further customisation.

With a nominal heat output of 4.9kW, the Rochester 5 Mk2 is perfectly suited to standard rooms, and in most cases, no additional ventilation is required. The interchangeable top or rear 5-inch flue outlet allows for flexible installation options, while the stove is fully CE-approved to standard BS EN 13240.

As a smoke-exempt appliance, the Rochester 5 Mk2 meets DEFRA requirements, allowing homeowners in smoke-controlled areas to legally burn wood and smokeless fuels. It accommodates logs up to 250mm (10 inches) in length and features an externally controllable riddle system for easy fuel management when burning solid fuels.
