The DRU 44 MF is a remarkable stove designed to burn either wood or approved solid fuels. With its exceptional cast iron construction and state-of-the-art stove technology, it offers fully controllable heat. The stylish arched viewing window provides a superb view of the mesmerising flames.

Featuring intricate detailing on the sides, including the well-known ‘DRU’ logo, this multi-fuel stove is perfect for small to medium-sized rooms. It has standard dimensions and a nominal heat output of 4.9kW, so additional ventilation is typically unnecessary. The 125mm (5″) top or rear flue connection allows for versatile installation options.

The standard DRU 44 MF model is finished in classic matt black paint over a premium cast iron casing.

Like all DRU stoves, the 44 MF is equipped with a unique triple burning system. Primary air, drawn from beneath the fire plate, initiates the burning process. Secondary air enters through the back of the stove and is fed through special inlets in the back and lower front chambers.

A portion of this preheated air also handles the ‘air wash’ of the glass window and further aids in the after-burning process of exhaust fumes. A third opening at the rear of the stove injects tertiary air through small holes in the back of the combustion chamber, resulting in nearly complete combustion of wood and reduced wood consumption.
